(c) - Peter Martijn Kuipers 2001
You may use and copy this license, but you may not change it.
Copying part of it is permitted.
Disclaimer heavily based on the one from IBM's Public License.

0 - Preface

This license agreement is an agreement between you, the user, and the author
of the program Licensed under this license, stating your freedoms to use,
copy, modify and incorporate the program, in it's runable version and in it's
source code version.
You are strongly encouraged to read the whole license, since by using the
program, or it's source code, you will agree to be bound by this license.

1 - Definitions

Following are the definitions as are used in this license agreement:

You: The user of the program or package licensed under this
license, either a real person, or a corporate entity.
Author: The author of the program or package licensed under this
license, either a real person, or a corporate entity.
Program:	The program or package licensed under this license.
System: The computer system, platform, or electronic device on
which the program can be run in it's runnable form.

Modification:	Making changes to the source of the program and distributing
the modified program, while the majority of the code remains
		intact.
Incorporation:	Incorporating the source or runnable code of the program
or part of it in a larger package that is being developed
		by you.

2 - Rights

You have the right to use and install this program on any unlimited number of
systems and to make copies of this program, and use them, sell them, give
them away, or use them in any other way to make profit or not, provided that:
        - You give credit to the author
        - You do not use this program to either practice, or support,
activities that are either against the law, or general accepted
code of conduct. This includes, but is not limited to:
                o Pornography of any sort
                o Extreme violence
o Use and selling of drugs
        - You do not violate your local law by doing so.
	- You distribute the package as a whole, not removing any copyright
headers, or omitting the source code.

You have the right to modify the program, and source code, and consequently
distributing it, provided that:
        - You do not remove copuright headers.
	- You state in the source code which parts were added or changed
	  by you.
        - You do not add components or routines, that either encourage or
support activities that are either against the law, or general
accepted code of conduct. This includes, but is not
          limited to:
                o Pornography of any sort
                o Extreme violence
o Use and selling of drugs
        - You distribute the modified program under the Hyperbyte Public
License (either version 1 or any higher version), and therefore
include the modified source in the package.
--Note that this requirement does not exist if you incorporate
the program source, or part of it into your program.
        - Your modifications do not infringe on the rights of others in any
	  way.

You have the right to incorporate the program's source, or part of it into
your own programs, licensing your program in any way you see fit,
provided that:
        - You give credit to the author
        - Your program does not encourage or support activities that are
either against the law, nor against general accepted code of
conduct. This includes, but is not limited to:
                o Pornography of any sort
                o Extreme violence
o Use and selling of drugs
        - Your program does not infringe on the right of others in any way.

Linking your program with the program covered under this license is considered
"incorporation".
When doubt exists, the author is the one who decides if a certain activity is
considered either modification, or incorporation.
When in doubt, the author also is the one who decides if a certain use,
program, or modification is against "general accepted code of conduct".

The author reserves the right to distribute future versions of the program
under a different license.

3 - Obligations
The author obliges himself to include the source code to the program with
the runable version of the program. If for some reason the source code is
not included, the author will make the source code available either on request,
or publicly, in any way the author sees fit.
Note that the separate source code even then is distributed under the
Hyperbyte Public License.

The author does NOT oblige himself to distribute runnable versions of the
program along with the source code, thus reserving the right to only
distribute the source code of the program.

4 - Disclaimer

Program and assumes all risks associated with its exercise of rights
under this Agreement, including but not limited to the risks and costs
of program errors, compliance with applicable laws, damage to or loss

operations.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT, NEITHER YOU
NOR ANYONE WHO REDISTRIBUTES IT SHALL HAVE ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY DIRECT,

(INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE
USE OR DISTRIBUTION OF THE PROGRAM OR THE EXERCISE OF ANY RIGHTS
GRANTED HEREUNDER, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
