----Summary----
This program makes it harder for someone to run a TI-BASIC program on
your calc... if you don't want them running it...
Basically, it allows you to password protect ti-basic programs easily.

----FEATURES----
-max password length of 10 key presses
-invisible interface and a timeout of 1 second when typing the password
-impossible for someone else to find out how long your password is
-can encrypt the password
-confirmation when entering a new password
-small size
-very powerful when used with Edit Locking/Archiving and/or kbdprgms

----How to Use------
1. send the program to the calc
1.1 locate the binary you want to use: Standard Version is in
the folder named Binary; the Encrypted Password version
is located in the sub-folder called Encrypted.

	1.2 Send pas.89z for the TI-89 or pas.9xz for
	    the TI-92 plus to calc...

2. ***SET THE PASSWORD:***
2.1 run the program; but pas a parameter example: pas(1)
it will ask for the old password by default there is none
(just wait if there is no password)

2.2 next it will ask for the new password (after it is typed just wait)

2.3 then it will ask you to confirm the new password
	    (retype the new password)

-You should note that every thing is done by delay so if nothing
is typed for a second it will continue on to the next part.
-the delay is NOT very long so you should pick a password that can be typed
  easily!!

3. ***NOW: to use the PASSWORD PROTECTION in a Basic program...***

3.1 in its simplest form add these lines near the beginning of a basic
program that you want to enable password protection for.

main\pas()	runs the program assumes that pas is in the folder called main
if pass=0	checks the variable pass 0 is bad password; 1 is a good password
return if a bad password then exit the program

3.2 if you would like error handling then the following example should
suit your needs (It is what I use in my programs)! In this example
            the program calling pas will work even if pas is not on the calc;
however if pas is on the calc then the password must be entered...

Try
main\pas()
If pass=0
Return
Else
ClrErr
EndTry
DelVar pass

In either case, when you run the program that you password protected it will
look like nothing has happened... to actually get into the program you
will need to type the password. REMEMBER that you only have about 1 second
to type each character in your password or it will be rejected...

----TIPS----
You may want to experiment with a short password in the beginning
to get a feel for how this program works with the delays etc.

I recommend ALWAYS placing pas in the folder called MAIN!!! That way
your programs and others programs will always know where to find it!

----TROUBLE SHOOTING---
-trying to change the password but it stays the same?
	Try unarchiving the program...

	-if you forget your password
send the program to the calc from the computer to reset the password

---KNOWEN BUGS---
